The calibration of electron beam absorbed doses in water and polystyrene phantoms is discussed and compared to the work of Kase et al . [Med. Phys. 9 , 13 (1982)] who used different ionization chambers with electron beams at energies of 7.8 and 10.2 MeV. (AIP)
