The Conference of Radiation Program Directors (CRCPD) develops Suggested State Regulations (SSRs) for use by the states in generating state regulations dealing with all aspects of the use of radioactive materials. The SSRs cover all areas of medical use of radioactive materials, whether regulated by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission or not. SSRs also address sources of x‐ray and non‐ionizing radiation. This Panel will discuss the SSR process, membership on SSR committees and the use of referencing other documents as standards of practice such as AAPM Task Group reports.
