The skin of the mice was found to contain more than 60 per cent. of all the histamine in the body. A large dose of histamine was cleared partly by excretion and partly by some other mechanism. Excretion occurred through the kidney, and only whilst a high concentration was present in the body. The whole of a large dose was removed within twenty‐four hours of administration.
