1. The Arneth count in cases of surgical tuberculosis treated by natural heliotherapy in the Alps does not show so great a left‐handed deviation as in similar cases treated in Britain. 2. It is suggested that this may be taken as one of the indications of the success of this method of treatment, and reasons are adduced for this.
