Part of the Choquet theory of integral representations on a universal cap is presented here in a slightly improved form. This makes possible a rapid proof of a generalised Bochner theorem for non‐separable locally compact groups and of two extensions to such groups of the classical Lévy–Cramér continuity theorem concerning the convergence of sequences of probabilities.
