In my paper (pp. 72–86 of Vol. 32) the following alterations should be made:— P. 80. Formula (9) should read c 2: = −α$ j $ c . P. 81. Delete formula (16). There are no pinch‐points or close‐points on the focal surface, nor are there pinch‐planes or close‐planes.
