In the present paper, we introduce a Riemann definite integral with values in an arbitrary metric space and describe its basic properties. This integral is a generalization of the classical Riemann—Stieltjes definite integral as well as a generalization of solutions of the differential equations of the type y ′ = f ( x,y ).
