The purpose of this research being done is to investigate systematic literature review related to students’ attitude towards technological gadget and its effects towards students’ sosio-emotional. There are a few articles being published between the year 2007 until 2016 by using Science Direct, Springer Link database and search from Research Gate. Researcher used keywords such as “digital devices” “students attitude on technologies use” and “socio-emotional” to identify articles that are related. The findings of the previous research showed that there are various positive and negative perspectives about technology usage towards students’ development especially from the aspects of students’ attitude, social and emotion. In social context, many research showed positive effect on gadget usage towards students’ social development if the gadget usage is being supervised by parents and it is being used in group. However, the effects of gadget usage towards students’ emotion are still vague because of the lack of research being done related to emotional aspect inside and outside of this country. Therefore, the implication of this research is important in providing information and understanding to everyone including parents, school and society on the importance of students’ social and emotional development apart from solely stressing on the development in students’ cognitive or motor skills aspects.
