In this work, UWB planer monopole antennas with partial ground plane are designed, fabricated andpresented. The substrate of the designed antennas are made from different types of substrate fabricmaterials (flannel and jeans) while the radiating element and ground plane are made from copper selfadhesivesheet. The operating frequency of the current manuscript designs spans from 2 GHz up to 15GHz. Measured results are compared with simulations and good agreement was observed. Resultsindicated the suitability of using flexible fabric materials for wearable applications instead of rigidsubstrate board materials.
