Key content The Advanced Professional Module ( APM ) in Clinical Research is the first to be produced by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists ( RCOG ) and approved by the General Medical Council. Trainees, hospital consultants and career‐grade doctors aspiring to hold clinical posts with an active research portfolio are eligible to register. Those who have taken the module can lead multicentre research studies in their hospitals.
