their dignity. 28 of 30 patients expressed frustration and disappointment for their inability for sexual activities. 24 patients expressed confidence for their “outpatient follow-up” programmes. They declared that they believed for admission to the hospital when they could not have been managed at home. This belief cleared away their anxiety for acute episodes. Conclusion: Our survey suggests that although optimal care has been given by physicians there are significant gaps between the perception of patients and their doctors. More open discussions between patients and their doctors are needed.
