Photogrammetric flights made by the United States Air Force during the 1950s using the Fairchild T‐11 camera were widespread throughout southern Europe, South America and various other regions. Photographs from these flights are valuable tools for analysing various geo‐temporal phenomena. However, there is a lack of information available about how the flights were undertaken and how the camera was calibrated and used, which has not allowed photogrammetric use of this source until now. The available data are researched along with approxi‐mations to the missing data in order to improve the mapping accuracy.
