A meta‐analysis was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of propranolol in the treatment of infantile hemangiomas ( IH s) in Chinese infants. A statistically significant difference was found between infants treated using propranolol and those treated using corticosteroids (p < 0.001). The total effect pooled from 26 single‐arm studies using meta‐analysis of propranolol on IH s in Chinese infants was 93% (95% confidence interval 0.88, 0.96).
