Scabies is a highly contagious infestation with the S arcoptes scabiei var h ominis mite. The variety of clinical presentations make timely, accurate diagnosis problematic. We report the case of a 3‐year‐old girl with Down syndrome and crusted scabies initially misdiagnosed as erythrodermic psoriasis.
