The report illustrates a rare case of warty dyskeratoma on the oral mucosa of an elderly male and emphasises the correspondence of histopathological features (invagination of surface epithelium) with clinical appearance (cavitation). Warty dyskeratoma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of a centrally cavitated white oral lesion.
