Micromeria zarkosii (Lamiaceae) is described as a new species belonging to Micromeria Benth. sect. Micromeria . It is restricted to the south Aegean island of Naxos in the central Kiklades, Greece. The taxon is illustrated and its morphological characteristics, habitat and affinities are described.
