Corydalis huangshanensis L.Q.Huang & H.S.Peng, a new species from Anhui, China, is described and illustrated. It is similar to C. decumbens but is easily distinguished by its more robust erect habit, rounded ultimate leaflets and horned tubers. Phylogenetic analysis of combined chloroplast sequences confirm that the new species is distinct from morphologically similar species.
