Rivasmartinezia cazorlana , from southern Spain, is newly described, illustrated, and compared with other species of the genus. The new species is characterized by a stock with abundant coarse fibres, basal leaves 4–5(–6)‐ternate with the petiole shorter than the limb and acicular ultimate segments, few‐rayed umbels, and mericarps with numerous vallecular and commissural vittae.
