Summary at a Glance Estimation of target or ideal body weight may be assisted by measurements of bioimpedance. This study used a three‐compartmental model to evaluate whether a single pre‐dialysis measurement might be sufficient to aid target weight assessment and notes that variability in measures in ‘over‐hydration status’ pre‐dialysis was not predictive of actual weight changes limiting its utility.
