Cover Illustrations: Posidonia oceanica hermaphroditic inflorescence composed of several bisexual flowers. This Mediterranean endemic seagrass species has a strong vegetative development through clonal growth, but it can also reproduce sexually, albeit flowering is infrequent over the long and slow‐growing life of plants. The recent finding that the species massively bloomed as a stress response to seawater warming indicated that the species is more plastic, and potentially more resilient than previously imagined. This offers an optimistic view about the fate of the species in the frame of global warming Photo Credit: Javier Ferrer
