Cover: Within the carbonaceous chondrite Allende (CV3) a very complex compound chondrule of ~1 mm in size was found consisting of at least 16 sub‐chondrules. Concerning the formation of this compound chondrule calculations suggest the existence of a super‐dense chondrule‐forming region with an extremely high solid‐to‐gas mass ratio.
