The ELISA technique was used to screen 25 MLO “strains” for serological relationship to S. citri , Corn stunt spiroplasma or A. laidlawii . No serological relationship to S. citri or A. laidlawii could be detected. The Corn stunt spiroplasma antiserum and antigens gave inconsistent results.
