A 19‐year‐old woman developed symptoms, signs, and radiographic evidence of Takayasu's arteritis. She subsequently presented with fluctuating, multifocal, central nervous system deficits; abnormal magnetic resonance findings of the head and spine; and spinal fluid irregularities indicative of multiple sclerosis. These two disorders of presumed autoimmune etiology have not previously been found in the same patient, suggesting an immunopathogenic link between them.
