Abstract A normally functioning bicuspid aortic valve that is spared during replacement of the ascending aorta may ultimately require replacement due to structural deterioration. We report the use of transcatheter aortic valve replacement to replace a stenotic BAV 17 years following replacement of the ascending aorta.
