Perventricular ventricular septal defect (VSD) closure has been adopted as a therapeutic option for selected patients with muscular VSDs. This technique may combine some of the advantages of surgical and interventional techniques. Complication rates have been low: only one case of procedure‐related left ventricular (LV) pseudoaneurysm has been documented. We report the surgical repair for a LV pseudoaneurysm after perventricular VSD device closure. doi: 10.1111/jocs.12226 (J Card Surg 2014;29:186–188)
