Flavin‐containing monooxygenase 1 ( FMO 1) largely remains to be characterized in cynomolgus macaque kidney. Immunoblotting showed expression of cynomolgus FMO 1 in kidneys where activities of FMO 1 (benzydamine N‐ oxygenation) were detected. No sex differences were observed in their contents or activities. These results suggest the functional role of cynomolgus FMO 1 in kidney.
