Summary Length–weight relationships were determined for two fish species ( Jinshaia sinensis Sauvage & Dabry de Thiersant, 1874; and Zacco platypus Temminck & Schlegel, 1846) collected from the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in China. The length–weight relationships were determined for the first time.
