Summary Length‐weight relationships ( LWR ) for three cyprinid fish species collected from the headwaters of the Nujiang River in Tibet, China, were determined. The values of parameter b in the LWR equations were estimated as 2.54 for Schizopygopsis thermalis , 3.3 for Ptychobarbus kaznakovi , and 2.74 for Schizothorax nukiangensis , respectively. These are the first LWR records for the three species.
