Summary The study presents and describes the first length–weight relationships for five fish species: Lagocephalus inermis (Temminck and Schlegel, 1850); Chelonodon patoca (Hamilton, 1822); Ilisha megaloptera (Swainson, 1839); Pseudosynanceia melanostigma Day, 1875; and Chirocentrus nudus Swainson, 1839) from the coastal waters of Hormozgan in the northeastern Persian Gulf.
