Searching for suitable sintering aids for ceramic materials is important and tedious work. In this study, we introduce a simple and effective method, named liquid phase screening method ( LPSM ), for rapidly screening sintering aids for KNN ceramics. By measuring the structure and properties, we demonstrated that the suitable sintering aids for KNN can be quickly determined by LPSM . The new sintering aids found by this method, GeO 2 and borax which have not been reported before, lead to improved properties.
