The present study looked at some of the psychological factors of children who habitually sniff glue. A control group of non‐glue‐sniffing delinquent boys was compared with an experimental group of glue‐sniffing boys. The comparison was across a number of personality variables, using the HSPQ, and the two groups were matched in terms of age, social class and intelligence. A significant difference was found between the two groups in terms of one HSPQ primary factor (factor F) and one HSPQ secondary factor (factor Q I ).
