Retest reliabilities of the Annett hand preference questionnaire and the Edinburgh Handedness Inventory were obtained over a mean test‐retest period of 14 weeks using 73 subjects. Both questionnaires showed significant reliability coefficients, although these were perhaps not as high as would have been expected. The interrelationship of the questionnaires based on data from 617 subjects is described and the relative advantages and disadvantages of the questionnaires discussed.
