In contrast to widespread opinion that organism and environment (or person and world) can be sharply distinguished, thesis is propounded that one often melts into other. Data from physiology, genetics, behaviour psychology, psychology of immediate experience, social psychology and parapsychology all suggest that ‘gradient’ from person to world may be either ‘steep’ or very gradual.
