S ummary . A simple teacher evaluation form was developed from variables used by students when considering teachers. Results indicated consensus amongst a large group of students about teacher strengths and weaknesses. Similar profiles emerged over each of three years, but median ratings indicated an overall improvement in performance. Profiles were shown to discriminate between different lecturers.
