S ummary . Tables are given to show the numbers and percentages ‘correctly’ chosen at various intensities of selection by selection procedures of various validities. The tables are derived on the assumption of bivariate normal distribution, i.e., on the assumption that the measures of both the selection procedure and of the criterion are normally distributed, that the regressions are linear, and that the various arrays of each measure are homoscedastic.
