In a previous paper (McLeish & Park, 1972) the allocation of 94 subjects randomly to one of six treatments was described. The general conditions of the experimental procedures were given, the educational objectives and test instruments were outlined. As far as personality changes are concerned, training groups of the kind used in this experiment appear to have no systematic effect. This second paper reports that no systematic changes in attitudes or personal values could be detected in any of the treatment groups, although these areas were sampled extensively. Nor was the score on Rokeach's Dogmatism Scale (Form E) influenced by the treatments.
