The frequency with which schizophrenics spontaneously use ‘psychological’ constructs, as opposed to other categories of construct, when describing photographs of people is significantly and negatively correlated with the extent of disorder (‘looseness’ and ‘inconsistency’) shown when they are required to use ‘psychological’ constructs, on the Bannister‐Fransella test.
