The construct validity of the Brook Reaction Test was examined in a factor‐analysis of its interest and temperament scores together with scores from the 16 PF test and Ai3, a measure of the anal character. The factors emerging from the Varimax rotation confirmed the validity of the Brook interest scales but the temperament measures were not unequivocally supported.
