Summary The symptoms and surgical treatment of fourteen cases of colic are discussed. The diagnosis and surgical treatment of eight cases similar to the syndrome of “gut oedema” in pigs is described. Résumé Les symptomes et le traitement chirurgical de quatorze cas de coliques sont rapportés. Le diagnostic et la cure chirurgicale de huit cas analogues au syndrome “oedème intestinal” chez le Porc sont décrits. Zusammenfassung Symptome und chirurgische Behandlung von 14 Kolik‐Fällen werden diskutiert. Die Diagnose und die Therapie von 8 Fällen eines der Oedemkrankheit des Schweines ähnlichen Syndroms werden beschrieben. Sumario Los sintomas y tratamiento quirúrgico de 14 casos son discutidos. Asi mismo se describen el diagnóstico y tratamien o quirúrgico en 8 casos similares al sindrome de “edema” intestinal encerdos.
