The Mungindi Iron Nickel Meteorite was investigated by neutron diffraction. All layers of the γ‐phase (separated from each other by α‐phase bars) form, from the crystallographic point of view, the same, big single crystal. The perfection of this single crystal is very high. In the kamacite phase each individual “single crystal” is broken into a group of crystals.
