Madiun is a white, veined olivine‐hypersthene, L6 chondrite. It can be classed as such on the basis of its petrography and chemistry, uniform olivine (Fa 24.2 ) and pyroxene (Fs 21,2 ) end total iron content of 23.7 wt % Fe.
