Cilimus is a new Indonesian chondrite. Its mineralogy and chemistry categorize it as a veined, intermediate‐to‐white hypersthene or L‐5 chondrite. Black veins and impact‐produced glasses including maskelynite show evidence that Cilimus has been severely shocked.
