A detailed examination of the geographical location, microstructure and chemical composition of the Mt. Stirling, Mooranoppin, Quairading and Youndegin siderites has led to the conclusion that they are all members of one meteorite shower. The cobalt, nickel, gallium and germanium contents of 10 of these meteorites have been determined by X‐ray fluorescence spectrometry, and this enables them to be classified as members of chemical group 1.
