The circumstances relating to the finding, identification, and recovery of the record‐breaking Lake Murray, Oklahoma, meteorite (CN = + 0970,341) are detailed. This siderite is at once the largest meteorite so far recovered in Oklahoma and the largest granular hexahedrite as yet found in the world.
