Two varieties of iron sulfide from one of the Gibeon (Bethany), Great Namaqualand, South Africa, irons are described and analyses are given. One variety is dark in color, soft, nonmagnetic, and nickel‐free, while the other is lighter‐colored, hard, polishable, strongly magnetic, and exceedingly rich in nickel. An analysis of a mixture of iron sulfide and daubréelite from another of the same group of meteorites also is given. Sulfides from Canyon Diablo, Arizona, and Xiquipilco (Toluca), Mexico State, Mexico, also are described and analyses for these too are given.
