AND INTRODUCTION The following four additional references on the history of the Tucson, Arizona, meteorites, the so‐called “Irwin‐Ainsa” and “Carleton” irons, have all been taken from an old Tucson newspaper, the Arizona Citizen , of dates January 15, April 1, and April 8, 1876. These references, which supplement those contained in the article that appeared in C.S.R.M ., 3 , 108–19; P. A ., 51 , 511–18, 563–7, 1943, will serve to complete the colorful record of the early history of the two well‐known Tucson irons.
