This paper contains an account of a 29.547‐g. coppery nugget reported to have been observed to fall in May, 1931, at Eaton, Weld Co., Colorado (coördinate number = 1047,405), that the writer is able to explain only on the hypothesis that the specimen is a meteorite of an entirely new type (copper‐zinc‐lead), coördinate with the sideritic variety (or nickel‐irons).
