This paper describes the efforts of two regional foreign language conferences to disseminate the conference programs to teachers not able to participate. The dissemination effort offers benefits both to the teachers serving as teachers of their colleagues and to those who have the opportunity to share in a program from the broader field of foreign language education. The paper discusses the need for inservice opportunities, and the need for encouraging greater professionalism. The projects described respond to both of these needs and offer models to other language associations.
