Teaching other subjects in foreign languages is an idea that surfaces from time to time but which faces opposition: neither students nor teachers may be qualified to study non‐language material in a foreign language. This paper is a report of a course developed around Greek mythology which has been taught at the intermediate level in college and can be taught in advanced high school French courses, with little re‐tooling on the part of the teacher. The course also can whet the appetite of students to continue their study of French literature, Classical History and Art History.
