  Presidential libraries are normally viewed as academic research centers used by graduate and post‐graduate historians and political scientists. A recent field trip by a high‐school German language class to the Dwight D. Eisenhower Library demonstrated that such archival repositories may offer rich resources for the creative foreign language teacher.
